Cape Town, Monday 14 September 2026 – Global sports brand PUMA has revealed a fully-loaded schedule for Berlin Marathon weekend that includes the PUMA418 relay race, the return of its iconic NITRO™ Lab, a Berlin-inspired rave shake-out run and an exclusive collaboration with German streetwear pioneers Another Cotton Lab.
With an action-packed schedule and exclusive launch of an exciting new collaboration, PUMA will establish itself as Berlin’s energy source across marathon weekend.
The build to Berlin begins on September 22, as four teams of seven runners will compete in the PUMA418 Race – a 418km relay race from the PUMA HQ in Herzogenaurach to The NITRO™ Lab in Berlin.
Located at the 39km mark on the marathon course, The NITRO™ Lab will officially open its doors from Thursday 24 September 10:00 and be a thriving hub of activity, with challenges, customization and product giveaways across marathon weekend. Runners will be thrilled to hear that the 1km Treadmill Challenge is also back, giving you the chance to win an exclusive pair of Deviate NITRO™ Elite 4 – so long as you can run 1km in under 4 minutes.
There will also be multiple chances to bag additional PUMA merch including items from the exclusive collaboration with Another Cotton Lab.
The PUMA x Another Cotton Lab collaboration brings together performance and the running culture cultivated by Sunday Running Club, founded by Another Cotton Lab and now one of Europe’s biggest run clubs. Born from years of Sunday miles, coffee stops and community, the collection brings Another Cotton Lab’s signature pink and coffee inspired aesthetic together into a full range of apparel. At the centre is a fresh take on the PUMA Deviate Pure NITRO™, bridging lifestyle and performance for a community that runs not just to perform, but to belong.
To get runners energised for race day, PUMA and Another Cotton Lab will also be hosting a Berlin-inspired Run & Rave 5km shakeout on Saturday 26 September. With a 08:00 welcome and 09:30 run start, the run community will make its way through the streets of Berlin, soundtracked by a local DJ artist.
On race day, PUMA will welcome 200+ athletes to the start line as part of its groundbreaking PROJECT3 running program. Athletes representing 19 countries from across the globe have been supported by PUMA in the lead up to the marathon and will be chasing down PBs in the latest PUMA performance footwear and apparel. As an added incentive to break their existing PBs, any PROJECT3 athlete that beats their previous marathon personal best time by three minutes or more will be awarded $3,000 in performance-based prize money.
Following Berlin, PUMA is set to take The NITRO™ Lab stateside, with an exclusive pop-up at the Chicago Marathon. More details will be shared in the coming weeks.
