Cape Town, South Africa, 26 June 2026 — Global sports brand PUMA, in collaboration with Brooklyn-based designer KidSuper, has today unveiled an exclusive custom FUTURE boot for Neymar Jr., a boot built around one of the most powerful symbols in sport: the Phoenix. Designed for football’s biggest stage and timed to coincide with Neymar Jr.’s return to the Brazilian national team, this is more than a football boot, it’s a statement of resilience, belief, and rebirth.

The concept of the phoenix was aligned early between Neymar Jr., KidSuper, and the PUMA team under a shared vision rooted in his career journey, the challenges he has overcome, and the defining comeback moments that have shaped him as a player and a person. As the world watches and the stakes have never been higher, PUMA and KidSuper set out to create something that reflects not just where Neymar Jr. is, but everything it took to get there.
The boots were hand-delivered to Neymar Jr. by KidSuper last weekend in a custom seeding case, ahead of Brazil’s next World Cup game.
The boot opens with a bold yellow base, a colour personally chosen by Neymar Jr., alive with energy and unmistakably Brazilian in spirit. A hand-drawn phoenix graphic by KidSuper spans the upper, with feather elements woven into the FUTURE’s 3D textured surface to create a cohesive visual identity that feels as much like art as it does performance footwear. A green PUMA cat adds a subtle nod to Neymar Jr.’s roots. The most personal detail is hidden where it matters most: the sockliner, inspired by his ‘Brazilian boy’ tattoo, features three hand-drawn dream symbols: a football pitch, a home, and the World Cup trophy, mapping the journey of a boy from Brazil who became one of the greatest players the game has ever seen.
