Fashion meets function with G-Star RAW Utility Collection

20 October 2021 – G-Star RAW’s latest Utility styles for men and women are here. The Utility collection combines fashion with function to create modern, on-trend pieces that can be worn throughout the seasons. 

Inspired by cold-weather Airforce overalls and close-fitting combat jackets, garments are full of interesting details and are executed in high quality fabrics.

Men’s 

Rovic Zip 3D Pants – R2 899: cut from durable ripstop fabric with crosshatch reinforcements for strength, these ‘Dark Olive’ pants straight fit, tapered pants feature multiple pockets and articulated knees for an ever better wear while adjustability is offered at the lower legs by the integrated tape. 

Zip Track Overshirt – R3 999: your ultimate “shirt jacket”. This ‘Dark Olive’ style features a raised collar, pockets and a Velcro badge holder with reinforcing A-Tape construction on the inner. 

3D Cargo Pants – R3 299: designed with a mid-waist, tapered fit these ‘Orphus’ coloured pants have deep thigh pockets and concealed zipper closure with extended pull cords. Double strap construction at the lower leg allows for a tighter look. 

Women’s 

Army Jumpsuit – R3 899: this ‘Dark Olive’ jumpsuit can be dressed up or own and is designed in a straight fit with hidden snap front closure, an elasticated waist, drawstring at the front and multiple pockets. 

The men’s Zip Track Overshirt and 3D Cargo Pants and women’s Army Jumpsuit are made from the famous ‘Brushed Herringbone Recycled Organic’ material. This compact fabric was inspired by the vintage army uniforms from the G-Star RAW archive. It offers a pronounced herringbone weave, creating a fine striped texture. This fabric is made from sustainable yarns of organic cotton and recycled polyester.

Boyfriend Tapered 3D Pocket Pants – R2 499: now in a Grey ‘Cloack’ colourway and created in a roomy, boyfriend fit with a tapered leg and pockets. A tighter cuff can be achieved by repositioning the tabs at the ankle. Made from high twisted cotton yarns, blended with partly recycled polyester which makes the fabric firm and long lasting..

Bomber Collar Overshirt – R3 799: combines a regular shirt with the ribbed neckline we know from bomber jackets. Available in a “Brindle” colourway and cut in a loose fit with pockets and slightly extended back, this overshirt is made a premium, super fine wool that is blended with recycled polyester which adds strength and stability in a sustainable way.
