June 2019 –Tyran Snyders and Ryan van Velzen have flown to the USA to compete in a trio of prestigious golf tournaments includingthe 41st North & South Junior Championship at the legendary Pinehurst course from 1 July to 3 July 2019.

Tyran,a member of Durbanville Golf Club,and Ryan, of Benoni Country Cub, booked their all-expenses paid trips to the USA by excelling in the South and North finals respectively of the Bridge Fund Managers Junior Series in April 2019.

Tyran and Ryan will be based at the stunning Pinewild Country Club and travel to the three venues for tournament play. 

First up is the Grandover Junior Amateur at Grandover Resort in Greensboro on 22 and 23 June. Followed by the Tarheel Youth Golf Association one-day event at Colonial Country Club in Thomasville, North Carolina on 27 June, before the main event at Pinehurst Resort (No 2 & No 8 courses), which will host the US Amateur in August.

“To play an iconic golf course such as Pinehurst, is a life changing experience which many golfers dream of and I am very grateful to have this opportunity,” said Tyran.
