SHINE DIFFERENT: PUMA AND BORUSSIA DORTMUND UNVEIL THE 26/27 THIRD KIT
Cape Town, South Africa, 30 July 2026 – Global sports brand PUMA and Borussia Dortmund have today revealed the club’s 26/27 third kit. Bright purple with neon yellow accents, it’s built for the fans who dare to go beyond the classic colourway.
The 26/27 third kit trades Dortmund’s traditional black and yellow for a bold purple base – a deliberate departure designed to stand out both on the pitch and in the stands. Neon yellow accents run through the V-neck collar and cuffs, keeping the new colourway tied back to the club’s identity. The crest and PUMA cat logo are rendered in contrasting yellow against the purple body, with a subtle tonal pinstripe texture running through the fabric, finished with a clean, modern silhouette built for elite performance.

As part of the Japan Tour, the new third kit will be officially unveiled by players from Borussia Dortmund’s first-team squad and showcased on the world’s largest permanent advertising display.
With the support of PUMA, Borussia Dortmund will host the BVB World Street Series in the heart of Tokyo, in front of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, giving children from Tokyo the opportunity to take part in a football tournament on one of the city’s most iconic stages.
