Ranked among the leading kit brands at this summer’s competition, PUMA unveils jerseys for 11 nations, including the most prominent African portfolio of any kit brand at the tournament

Cape Town, South Africa, 24 March – Global sports company PUMA today officially launches its national team Home & Away kits for countries heading into this summer’s biggest international football competition. First revealed on the streets of New York City, the collection is now available worldwide for the first time.

Each design has been built to capture the culture, character, and spirit of the nation it represents, engineered for the highest level of the game, yet rooted in the same emotion that drives football everywhere it is played.

“Every kit in this collection is designed to carry the spirit of a nation: the colours, the symbols, the stories. We’ve pushed our performance innovation further than ever before, but the soul of each design comes from the people who wear it,” said Maria Kiebacher, PUMA Director Product Line Management Teamsport Apparel.

From Europe to Africa, South America to Oceania, the collection brings together: Portugal, Morocco, Ghana, Paraguay, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Czech Republic, Switzerland, New Zealand, Austria, and Egypt. This confirms PUMA’s position as one of the leading kit brands in international football, dressing close to a quarter of all nations heading into this summer’s biggest competition, with the strongest African portfolio of any brand in the sport: a portfolio that is also its most ambitious in design.

Kit Spotlights

Three kits from the collection illustrate the breadth of PUMA’s design approach, each rooted in national identity, each distinct in expression.

PORTUGAL

Home: The power of the ocean runs through Portugal’s Home kit. A deep red body features a tonal wave pattern capturing movement and momentum, nodding to the Atlantic waters that border the nation. Green and gold trim reinforce the national colours, while the iconic Portuguese crest anchors the design in heritage. Bold, elegant, and built for the biggest stage.

Away: Portugal’s maritime soul comes to life in the Away kit. A white base is overtaken by sweeping teal wave patterns that evoke the country’s deep connection to the sea and its history of exploration. Fluid, dynamic, and modern.

MOROCCO

Home: A deep, commanding red sets the tone, with green accents and traditional patterning at the collar and sleeves rooted directly in Moroccan heritage. Clean, confident, and steeped in ambition.

Away: Intricate detailing defines the Away kit. A white base is adorned with subtle geometric patterns inspired by traditional Moroccan tilework and architecture: delicate, layered, and rich with cultural meaning. Red and green accents provide contrast, balancing elegance with resilience.

GHANA

Home: Pure energy. A white base is overtaken by bold geometric patterns in vibrant gradients of red, yellow, and green — the national colours brought to life through rhythm and motion. The iconic Black Star anchors the design front and centre. Celebratory, unapologetic, and built to stand out.

Away: Radiating power and optimism, the golden Away kit commands attention. An all-over Kente-inspired pattern adds cultural depth, while red trim and the Black Star tie the design back to Ghanaian heritage.

Elsewhere in the collection, Switzerland’s Home kit leads with precision and national colour: bold red, clean white accents, and the Swiss cross front and centre. Austria pairs an uncompromising red-and-black Home kit with a fluid, alpine-inspired Away. Paraguay brings back classic red and white stripes with a distressed finish, contrasted by a tactical, camo inspired Away.

Senegal balances cultural pride and elegance, with intricate tonal patterns on the Home and a vibrant teal Away full of energy. Côte d’Ivoire’s collection radiates warmth and festivity: the Home kit animated by traditional Ivorian textiles, the Away understated by contrast. New Zealand strips it back to raw, quiet power: a black Home textured with natural landscapes, paired with a soft ice blue Away. Czech Republic rounds out the collection with a deep red Home rooted in national pride and a stripped-back Away that captures the spontaneity of the game.

Technologies & Innovation Behind the Design

The full kit range is available in both Authentic and Replica versions. The Authentic jersey is developed with PUMA’s ULTRAWEAVE technology: an ultra-light performance fabric engineered for unrestricted, natural movement at the highest level of the game.

The Replica jersey features the same design as worn by the players, crafted with a more relaxed fit for match days and everyday wear. All jerseys incorporate PUMA’s dryCELL sweat-wicking technology to keep players and fans dry and comfortable.

Reflecting PUMA’s commitment to responsible product innovation, all Replica jerseys are made using the RE:FIBRE initiative, utilising recycled textile waste as the primary source of material. The recycled material maintains the same quality and performance standards and can be recycled again and again without losing quality, supporting a more circular future for football apparel.

The PUMA national team Home and Away kits are available from PUMA Retail stores, PUMA.com, Totalsports, Studio 88, Mike Sports, JD Sports and SportSA from 24 March 2026. Price per shirt R1 599.
